This past weekend I had the opportunity to work to talk to hundreds of brides at the LA Convention Center. I loved being able to hear all about their wedding plans. Each bride came to me to talk about their vision for what a boudoir shoot may look like for them. Why do women want to do a boudoir session before they are married? Although the end result is often an album to give to their future spouse on their wedding day, the reason to do a boudoir session is so much bigger than that! It is about empowering you as the bride! And celebrating this exciting time in your life! The gift for your future spouse is the cherry on top.
- It adds to your pampering before your wedding day! My sessions are a total experience. You’ll arrive at my studio ready to get our hair and make up done. We will listen to music, eat snacks, and drink champagne. You only get married once you should have every opportunity to celebrate and pamper yourself leading up to your wedding!
- It is a way to bond with the girls in your wedding party. Make a day out of your session! Go to brunch with your wedding party beforehand and then come to your session. It is a great way to bond with the women you are closest to before your big day. Go a step further and book a session for your whole bridal party. This way you get the opportunity for your whole party to get empowering photos of themselves.
- Mark the end of an era! You will soon be a married woman! After your wedding the next time you get professional pictures taken will most likely be for a family or maternity session. Mark this significant time in your life and give yourself the opportunity to celebrate yourself and your body.
